About us

WONTGETWEIRD.COM is an initiative of Sexual Health Access Alberta (formerly Planned Parenthood Alberta) made possible with the funding support of Alberta Community Initiatives Program, The Calgary Foundation, Edmonton Community Foundation, Wild Rose Foundation and the ongoing contributions of individual community supporters.

As of August 2010, WONTGETWEIRD. COM Alberta is being managed by Calgary Sexual Health Centre.

WONTGETWEIRD.COM is the result of a collaborative process undertaken by SHAA with several community based organizations - both government run and not-for-profit - that serve the sexual and reproductive health needs of Albertans.

Youth from every part of the province contributed to this project by sitting on the advisory committee, participating in focus groups, entering and judging the poster contest and providing feedback.
